Ceil’s Smile

Many people have told us, by email and in person, that one of the things they will miss most about mom is her fantastic smile. We agree. In the past week, we’ve looked through many of our digital and print photos of mom throughout her life and this has been a great comfort for us. We wanted to share them with you, so I’ve created a set on flickr where everyone can go and be reminded of Ceil’s smile.

My condolences on the loss of your mon. Ceil was one-of-a-kind, and I'll miss her dearly. Here's another snapshot for your collection:

Thank you so much Ted, for these and for the other photo of yours that I grabbed. I've added them to the flickr set.

Thank you so much for posting these pictures. I went through the entire set with a huge smile on my face. The world needs more people like Ceil!

Thank you so much for posting this treasure trove of pictures of your mom. She was a beauty from the inside all the way out.

She is already deeply missed.

I was very saddened to hear of Ceil's passing. My interactions were confined to our relationships within the FoxPro community. Ceil was a passionate, kind and generous woman who gave so much because she could and *never* because she expected anything in return.

Ceil was an admired and very special woman - not simply because of her abundant courage - but also because of her warmth and thoughtfulness. My prayer is that you, her daughters, family and friends, find comfort and solace in the wonderful memories that I am certain you have.

Sincerely,

David Blumenthal

What a lovely woman. What a bright spirit.

I see a picture of a woman who had many close friends, and who absolutely adored her children.

Thanks for giving us a chance to get to see the smiling side of Ceil.
